As a Live-in Carer, you will be working in one household, typically with one or two Clients for the duration of the specified shift pattern as below. You will effectively become part of the family and everyday life, with the role encompassing everything from companionship to personal care to managing complex care needs and medication requirements.

Your role as a Live-in Carer will play a pivotal part in enabling clients to continue to remain independent and enjoy fulfilled lives and offer peace of mind to relatives that their loved ones are safe and well.

Minimum requirements to work with Nurseplus as a Live-in carer:

  • The ability to forge great relationships and a personable nature
  • Minimum of six months' UK based care experience is required
  • A commitment to care for vulnerable people
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must have a good standard of both written and verbal communication
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required
  • Due to the nature of the role, confidentiality is key
  • Drivers preferred, due to Client locations

Live-in Carer Package Information:

Placements can range from 2 to 12 weeks with the same home, dependent on client needs and flexibility. Some examples of working patterns and pay are:

  1. 2 weeks on/ 1 week off (35 weeks per year, with 17 weeks off!) annual earnings from £25,480 - £33,320*
  2. 12 weeks on/ 1 week off (48 weeks per year) annual earnings from or £34,944 - £45,696*
